Accumulation Conveyor

Conveyor Case Studies

Accumulation conveyor comes in two core flavors; minimum pressure and zero pressure. With minimum pressure accumulation the products actually make contact with each other but the pressure built up between products is minimized by adjusting the amount of drive impacting each conveyed product. With zero pressure accumulation the products do not touch each other. The product is contained in zones of accumulation and if the zone ahead is occupied the current zone drops power. Thus there is no force applied to the product until the next zone is free. Accumulation can be achieved with belt driven live roller, chain driven live roller, lineshaft live roller, and 24v powered conveyor.
