A drive belt is pushed up to conveyor rollers or conveyor rollers are pushed down to the drive belt. The drive belt is pulled by a drive and pulley system in the opposite direction the product being conveyed is desired to move. When the drive belt is pulled left to right and the conveyor rollers come in contact with it they will rotate right to left and thus convey the product right to left. When the drive belt is pulled right to left and the conveyor rollers come in contact with it they will rotate left to right and thus convey the product left to right. Belt driven live roller conveyor is most commonly used for transportation conveying needs of typical boxes, totes, and conveyable containers. They can be configured for transportation, minimum pressure accumulation, or zero pressure accumulation and light or medium duty.
